XPEDX PRINTING TECHNOLOGIES NAMES Duncan brings deep experience in technical sales and service on full size to small presses LENEXA, Kansas, May 3, 2007—xpedx Printing Technologies, the exclusive full-line marketer and distributor of Ryobi-branded printing presses in the U.S., has appointed Wayne Duncan as the Western Regional Manager. The 15-state region covers Louisiana, Texas, and all U.S. states north and west of New Mexico, including Hawaii and Alaska. San Diego-based Duncan has 40 years of experience servicing and selling presses, including duplicators, half-, full- and large-size sheetfed presses. He is responsible for overseeing sales in the region, for increasing service among the xpedx Printing Technologies dealer network and for further strengthening technical sales. “Wayne is an important addition to the xpedx and Ryobi teams,” said Don Harvey, vice president and general manager for xpedx Printing Technologies. “He is expert in both the printing business and on all aspects of offset printing technology.” Prior to joining xpedx, Duncan was employed by MAN Roland for nearly 17 years, working on the entire Miller, Miehle and MAN Roland sheetfed product lines, most recently as a master sheetfed press mechanic. In 1985 Duncan joined Solna Sheetfed Group serving as a field service representative and eventually becoming a national service director. Before that, from 1978 to 1985, Duncan was co-owner of Litho Equipment Service Specialties in San Diego, where he serviced presses and bought and sold used equipment. During this time, he was trained on all Ryobi presses. Duncan’s career in the printing press industry began in 1967 as a representative for A.B. Dick. He then became an equipment service and sales contract agent for Smart Supply, a division of Western Paper and now a unit of xpedx.
